What’s the Dads Matter Program?

Having a baby is definitely a life-changing experience. The roller coaster of pregnancy and parenting can be difficult to navigate on your own. We want to help equip you! We know that dads are super important for a healthy pregnancy and a strong family. If you have never been a dad before, or if you would like to improve your current skills, we hope you will join us for this program.

We also want you to be fully prepared when your new baby arrives. In addition to earning free rewards, this program prepares you for pregnancy and baby development, helping you decide what your role will be during labor and delivery, new baby care, etc. Also, we will set you up with a Dad Coach who has already been through this whole Dad process. He will answer questions and walk you through being the best version of dad you can be.

Here’s the details.

Dads Matter consists of at least ten visits during your pregnancy.

Five of these visits can be completed with your partner by attending Baby Boot Camp with her. The other five visits you will meet with one of our Dads Matter Coaches.

At each visit, you will watch a streamed video lesson and discuss the content with your Dad’s Matter Coach. You must start the program prior to your 6th month of pregnancy. Allow yourself 45 minutes per visit.

Then, bring your baby in after delivery we can take a picture and you can pick up your Dad’s Matter Rewards.

Children who grow up with involved fathers are:

39% more likely to earn mostly A’s in school.

45% less likely to repeat a grade.

60% less likely to be suspended or expelled from school, twice as likely to go to college and find stable employment after high school.

75% less likely to have a teen birth.

80% less likely to spend time in jail.

Another study shows five-month-old infants with involved fathers have been shown to score higher on cognitive development tests than those without. That trend is proven to continue throughout childhood, leading to better problem-solving skills and higher IQs. Involved fathers even reduce the risk of children having behavioral issues later in life!
